The counters in the Ogre on Mars are basically ports from the Classic Ogre & GEV gamebox.  To spice them up a little I changed the background colors on the counters.  I used bright yellow  for the Paneuropean counters and olive green for the Combine.  I particularly like the way the Combine counters turned out, though initially I thought the Pan counters would be better.

I did put a little work into the board markers.  The most used markers, the town destroyed and road cut markers, were totally reworked.  I like the way the destroyed marker now has a series of craters and shell holes to denote a hex of destruction.  The road marker is now a big crater you lay across the road to show it has been cut.

I also reworked the bridge destroyed markers.  There is now a marker for each of the 4 bridges on the map.  When applied, you will see the bridge blown to bits, but otherwise the map is unchanged.

Ditto for the cruise missile crater.
